Mission Statement:
Bemis Intermediate School is committed to a
partnership with home and community promoting and providing a
standards based education where all students are given equal
opportunities to learn and be exposed to challenging experiences.
Through a compassionate and secure environment our students will
become self-motivated learners and responsible global citizens.
Vision Statement:
It is the vision of Bemis Intermediate School to prepare our
students to face the challenges of the future in a safe and nurturing
environment. We envision an educational community with a curriculum
that is: standards and data based, age appropriate, relevant to the
needs of the 21st century, appealing to curious minds, encouraging
students to go beyond minimum requirements, student-centered, and
interactive. Our vision is to see that each student is treated with
dignity and has the opportunity to achieve his/her maximum
capabilities. We also envision a technological advanced educational
community. Furthermore, we envision the students of Bemis Intermediate
school exceeding state and district standards by increasing test
scores in science, mathematics, social studies and language arts.
