Due to the May 4th, 2003 tornados, Highland Park Intermediate School
students were relocated along with several other school reassignments.
Highland Park school is currently located on the campus of Lane
Technology Magnet School. Highland Park utilizes it's own building wing,
plus portables at 746-A Lexington Avenue.
Our Mission: The mission of Highland Park Intermediate School
is to build a strong foundation for life-long learning by engaging
students in challenging experiences to meet their needs through wise
decision-making, building character and celebrating diversity in a safe,
positive learning environment. Our mission is to help students become
effective problem solvers, compute accurately, think, reason and write
clearly and read with comprehension.
